Snowy Mountains

The NSW Snowy Mountains is an adventure playground for the sporting enthusiast.

In the winter months, hit the slopes in Perisher or Thredbo for skiing and snowboarding and during the warmer months explore the region by bushwalking and hiking.

In any season, you’ll discover the alpine villages of the Snowy Mountains offer spectacular scenery and warm hospitality.

Snowy Mountains in Winter

In winter, there’s night skiing, downhill or cross-country skiing, snowboarding and tobogganing.

All four NSW snow resorts are within Kosciuszko National Park; they cater for new skiers and boarders, those who are experienced skiers and family groups.

They are Thredbo, Perisher, Charlotte Pass and Selwyn Snowfields.

Australia’s highest mountain, Mt Kosciuszko, looks down on sub-alpine snowgum woodlands and tall forests of alpine ash and mountain gum
